Hey everyone! Today I thought I’d show you what I have been up to lately! I was very busy over Christmas break, making lots of fun things.
First, I made some very simple French bread from my mom’s blog recipe. I have just started making bread and am thoroughly enjoying it! This is a great for a beginner like me, tastes good, and it doesn’t take too much time. (And doesn’t make too many dishes.)
I love the way french bread tastes, especially fresh out of the oven.
Second, I made some German Pfeffernusse, which translates to pepper nuts. These are kind of a tradition to make in my family. They are super delicious! The only problem with the recipe I have is that it makes SO much dough. It took me forever to bake all of them! I am glad I did though. 🙂
The next thing I made were these orange bath bombs. It was only my second time making them, so they aren’t very pretty. If you guys have any tips for me, please let me know! They smell so nice, but I think I added a little too much oil. I think that maybe I will just have to mess around with the recipe.
I also made some crochet things. I just started crocheting and it is really fun!
So far I have made a little pineapple, a tiny turtle, and an ice cream cone.
These patterns are from a really cool Youtube channel called Happyberry crochet and they are easy and fun to make. (I will have to try more of her patterns soon.)
There are also lots and lots of things that I am working on, such as a blanket, a hat, another bunny, and a turtle stuffie. For Christmas, I got some new patterns that I am excited to try out. Hopefully you guys will be seeing those soon!
