Hi everyone! Sorry about kind of falling off the face of the earth for a little while there! I was super busy, and since my mom was gone, she couldn’t take any pictures.
Anyhow, on to this week’s project!
I found this pattern in my knitting book, Teeny Tiny Mochimochi. I love these mermaids! I think they have perfect hair to practice braiding on!
They are super quick and easy to make and also make great gifts. (I may or may not have made four in a couple of hours.)
I will have to make an Ariel mermaid. I also found a fish pattern, which I hope to try out soon! I think it would be adorable if I had both Ariel and Flounder. Ursula would also be a fun one to make!
(So many cute possibilities.)
For these, I used a gray color for their tails, Vanna’s Choice in black for two of their tiny tops. The other mermaid has a gorgeous teal top that matches her long hair.
One of the other mermaids has Caron Simply Soft in Purple for her hair, and the other has Harvest Red for hers. I used 3.75 mm. needles for them.
